Dr. Tim Philippi

Dr Philippi moved to Singapore in 2004 as Delegate of German Industry and Commerce. Later in 2004 the SGC was founded, and Dr Philippi joined as Executive Director and Board Member. He previously was assigned to Asia from 1998 to 2001 as Divisional Director for Marketing, Economics and Communication at the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI). In between his activities abroad, he was Divisional Director and Deputy Head, Department German bilateral Chamber abroad/International at the German Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) in Berlin. Dr Philippi started his professional career at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Stuttgart Region (IHK) in 1992, where he held various positions.
